We were in the pub last week
The barman turned on bbc
They said gatherings were ill advised
We didn’t take it seriously
Then I laughed next rounds on me
And we carried on drinking till sunrise

I woke up the next morning crying
Felt like my insides were dying
Went to the store to get myself some roll
Omg the shelves were bare
Panic buying without no care
And I’ve been queuing at every shop I go

We all though thought the media lied
Now we’re all cooped up inside

The nhs are on the front
Low skilled workers bare the brunt
And all my favourite venues closing down
A Calendar of cancellations
Live stream gigs of desperation
And I’ve been drinking in my dressing gown

Spreading germs around the nation
All alone in isolation

Schools are closed till further notice
Government plans are all so hopeless
What will happen next is hard to say
One thing we can say for certain
Situations bound to worsen

Now we’re stuck in quarantine

The recommended washing rules

Wet your hands with some water
Enough soap that you cover

Under nails get them clean
Rinse and dry then turn off the taps
